I’ve been extremely busy clearing out cosmetics from my makeup storage and I noticed I have about 3 almost empty bottles of different Clinique foundations and a powder foundation. After doing my Clinique mascara guide (I’m a big fan of Clinique if you haven’t noticed yet) I thought it would be a good idea to write a foundation one if anyone’s interested in trying out their foundations. I have tried more than what is featured here but I decided to only feature products that I have on hand so I can give a better opinion.
If there’s one type of cosmetic I usually avoid, it’s fake tan. It’s one of those things which you have to follow a few guidelines or it will go horribly wrong. I remember the first time I used fake tan was with a set of tanning wipes from New Look, that should of put me off buying them all together, why would a fashion retailer sell fake tan and why would it be a good idea to buy it?? In the end I was left with streaky orange legs (a la georgia nicolson), a completely pale body and those lovely orange palmed hands, not really worth all the hassle is it? After going through a number of different tanning products and gradual tanning creams I thought enough was enough and embraced the pale look, even on nights out, shock horror!!
I’ve been using Clinique mascaras for about 3-4 years and over those years I’ve tried many many different ones, even some that are now discontinued. I thought this post would be helpful to anyone wishing to purchase one of their mascaras and hopefully help point you in the right direction to which one would suit you best based on my opinion. I have tried out and owned every single mascara mentioned in this post, whether it be using the full sized product or having received a mascara sample from a previous purchase. I have tried out more than what is featured here but I didn’t want to feature products I didn’t have on hand at the moment so if you do want to know about any of their other mascaras just leave me a little message!
I’ve recently been on the hunt for more makeup/skincare organisers when I came across this lovely Osco Acrylic Desk Organiser.
