As it’s now finally December we can get cracking on with our Christmas beauty gift guides! We’re so excited for the holiday season that we’ve pulled together a few posts dedicated to the Christmas gifts which we think you’ll love and for any last minute shoppers, a little helping hand in the gift choices out there. We’ve started off with our gift guide for men but now it’s all about the ladies. As part of our Christmas gift guides we’ll be donating a selection of sets we feature to charity and to start off the gift guides, we’ll be taking a look at skincare gifts.
It’s that time again where all the bloggers share their favourites of the month. This month I’ve been embracing all things Autumnal, the berry toned lipsticks, spicy candles and all the hot chocolate I can get my hands on.
I can’t help but cringe when I think about all the times I wore makeup to bed. These days as soon as I get home the first thing I want to do is take it all off and pop on some moisturiser. Don’t get me wrong, I love wearing makeup and putting on my face in the morning but when the foundation starts to wears off and the shiny face starts appearing I’d much rather take it all off than pile on the powder. Now that I’ve found a routine which finally works for my sensitive/oily skin there’s no excuse not to remove that waterproof mascara before my head hits the pillow. Sensitive skin sufferers take note, this one’s for you guys.
When you have oily skin, a good clay mask can really make the difference. They clear your skin of excess oils, toxins, plus who doesn’t enjoy a good face mask every now and then? I’ve recently had the chance to try out the Una Brennan Superfacialist Tea Flower Pore Purifying Clay Mask* to help detoxify my skin and restore it to it’s natural balance.
Back when my foundation of choice was Clinique’s Anti-Blemish Foundation (which is still amazing), I’d always wait till Bonus Time was around before repurchasing. I’m a big believer in getting your moneys worth and whenever I’m shopping I always look around for the best deals and offer codes before making a purchase. If you’re not familiar with Clinique Bonus Time, it’s basically means if you buy a certain amount of items during the bonus time you’ll get to walk away with a gift with purchase which usually includes a lovely makeup bag with a handful of mini Clinique products inside. While Bonus Time doesn’t start till the 31st in House of Fraser, I do have the gift with purchase* already so here’s a little sneak peek of what to expect.
