It’s that time again where all the bloggers share their favourites of the month. This month I’ve been embracing all things Autumnal, the berry toned lipsticks, spicy candles and all the hot chocolate I can get my hands on.
I’ve always had a bit of a love/hate relationship with my brows and with the rise of Cara Delevigne, it’s natural to have a bit of brow envy! Sadly they’ll probably never be as impressive but I’ve decided to make a bit more effort maintaining them instead of hiding behind my side fringe. I do pluck them regularly and fill them in but I’ve always been curious about dying them. I’m no stranger to a bit of hair dye but the thought of going into a salon and coming out with scouse brows is more than enough to put me off. Instead I decided to take matters into my own hands and pick up the Eyelure Dybrow Kit in Brown so I only have myself to blame if things go wrong. Here’s how I got on.
Just when I think the beauty industry can’t surprise me anymore, in comes the magnetic mascara concept. Now you’re probably thinking, what on earth is a magnetic mascara and what does it do differently compared to a normal mascara? Basically the Santhilea Magnetic Lash Mascara* contains two parts which dramatically extend your lashes to give a sort of professional false lash effect. Aside from the magic extending qualities, it also contains hyaluronic acid and vitamin E to condition the lashes while being waterproof and smudge proof. I have to say, after the first use I couldn’t believe the difference. Here’s how you use it.
Us beauty addicts love nothing more than a hard working multi tasking product, right? Well prepare to be very impressed with these multi-tasking heroes. The Carmex Moisture Plus SPF15 Hydrating Lip Balms* (£4.50) are little sticks of lip saving goodness, that are just screaming to be stuffed into stockings this Christmas!
When I hear the sound of a new NARS eyeshadow palette coming out, the majority of the time I can just about control myself. While I love my Modern Love palette, I’m not a huge eyeshadow wearer so there isn’t really any reason for me to add more into my collection. However, mention a blush palette with 6 blusher/bronzer shades and the self control goes out of the window. The NARS One Night Stand limited edition palette will be making it’s way into all the beauty lovers makeup bags, just make sure you get on the back order list quick before it’s gone!
