Some call it a blessing, some call it a burden, whichever camp your in one things for sure having thick curly hair can be a real pain to keep in check. Especially during the warmer months as humidity leaves us curly sue’s more frizzy than fabulous. With this in mind I thought I’d share my current picks for keeping my curls in check.

They say that without using good quality make up brushes, your products won’t perform well and it’s safe to say the same applies with hairdryers. You could spend ages applying your favourite shampoo and conditioner and all the argan oils in the world in the hope for a lovely sleek look but ultimately your hairdryer is in charge. Without the right heat and speed settings suited to your hair, all that hard work might leave you with a frizzy mess. Sadly, the music festival season is non existant for me this year. For the past three years I’ve been to both Glastonbury and T In the Park and along the way I’ve came up with some helpful tips on how to keep your hair lasting throughout the whole time.
