Although I’m lucky enough to have very thick hair which needs minimal products to be tamed, I still love experimenting with all kinds of products for a different look. While achieving volume isn’t too difficult, it can be a bit unpredictable and crazy looking so I like to use products to control it.
Percy & Reed Volumising Hair Mousse*: I received this sample at the Cosmopolitan Blog Awards last year and I’ve rediscovered my love for it. The bottle may look small but a little bit definitely goes a long way. The mousse is really easy to use and it doesn’t leave any product build up on the hair. I apply this to the roots of my wet hair by spreading it on my tangle teeser for an even application and dry it with my hairdryer.
Label.M Sea Salt Spray*: Now that the roots have been volumised, I like to add a little bit of texture to the ends. As I still have ombre hair, I find the ends look best if they’re wavy or a little bit texurised so this does the job perfectly. I simply do a couple of sprays onto the ends and scrunch them for my desired look. I also love that this is in a travel size which means I can pop it in my handbag for any quick touch ups.
I love both of these products and the looks they can achieve, both together and separately. If your hair is in need of a little volume, you can’t go wrong with these two.
